Analiza metod oceny jakości parametrów świetlnych samochodowych projektorów oświetleniowych

Abstract

In this thesis some chosen issues related to the quality of automotive lighting projectors, in particular projectors of beam headlamps, are presented. The author reviewed the state of knowledge in the field of modern optical – lighting systems of car lighting projectors and methods of assessing their quality parameters associated with the proper illumination of the road. The analysis of the literature of assessment methods in accordance with a proposed set of criteria is also presented. The advantages and disadvantages of the methods and areas in which they give the best results in terms of precision and minimizing financial and time outlays have been shown. The theoretical considerations are supported by laboratory tests aimed at validating the adopted evaluation. Taking into account the imperfect of existing algorithms for assessing the quality of automotive lighting projectors, two new methods have been proposed. The method of "simulation of visualization” of the road illuminated by car projectors allows to perform comparative analysis modeled by using a virtual computing environment and is sufficiently precise to illustrate the quality characteristics of light beam. This method constitutes a complement for the „luminance method” and it is allowing for visual assessment of light intensity distribution of road surface. The next method, relating to the “evaluation of luminance distribution on the photometric screen", is an extensive system of projectors assessment based on fuzzy logic algorithms. The proposed system of criteria ensures the high accuracy of assessments conducted. Verification of the results obtained fully confirmed the high effectiveness of the proposed criteria. In the author’s opinion, the proposed methods give opportunities to develop and implement a system of classification of automotive projectors.
