Badanie struktury elektronowej kryształów półprzewodnikowych z układu Cu-In-Se metodą absorpcji promieniowania rentgenowskiego

Abstract

The aim of this work was a study of the electronic structure band of the semiconductor crystals in the Cu-In-Se system. The measurements were carried out for CuInSe2 and some defected indium-rich phases. As an experimental method the x-ray absorption of the synchrotron radiation was used. Measured XANES (X-ray Absorption Near Edge Spectra) have been provided information about the structure of the conduction band. To interpret that spectra two theoretical methods were used: LMTO (Linear Muffin Tin Orbital) and RSMS (Real Space Multiple Scattering). The first one gives information about the density of states, the second one allows for the modelling absorption spectra. The work consists of five chapters. The first one contains the introduction, the second - characterisation of the investigated compounds, the third - description of the properties of the synchrotron radiation and theoretical basics of the x-ray absorption, the fourth - the experimental data and their interpretation, the fifth - the conclusions.
