Abstract

The aim of this work was a study of the crystal structure of defect phases of the (Cu2Se)1-x(In2Se3)x system. EXAFS, X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering investigations were performed. Two former methods use the X-rays as the excitation and they are complementary. EXAFS samples the local environment of an atom, and X-ray diffraction provides information about long-range ordering. Simultaneously used, they allow to determine a long-range ordering, a space group and interatomic distances of compounds of the investigated system. Raman spectroscopy was used to determine phonon spectra of the studied phases. On the basis of the Raman selection rules some information their structure has been extracted.
