Poszukiwania nowych środków ochrony roślin w grupie sulfonów arylowo-fluorometylowych

Abstract

In first step of research work three sulfones were obtained. Then sulfones were nitrated. Mononitro and dinitro sulfones were very interesting substances in chemical synthesis. They reacted with many nucleophilic agents to give compounds containing fluoro-, difluoro- and trifluoromethylsulfonyl group. A lot of reactions of aromatic nucleophilic substitution (SNAr) were made. In reactions of mononitro sulfones with ammonia and organic amines aniline derivatives were obtained, with phenols - diarylether derivatives were obtained. The reduction of some compounds by tin (II) chloride (SnCl2) and by hydrogen on Raney catalyst was made. Some benzoheterocyclic compounds, for example: benzoimidazole, benzotriazole and benzotiazole derivatives were obtained. Some reactions of 2-substituted benzoimidazoles and 2-chloroanilines with electrophilic agents, such as phenylisocyanates, chlorocarboxylic acids, aldehydes and carboxylic acid chlorides were made. Over 200 new chemical compounds containing fluoro-, difluoro- and trifluoromethylsulfonyl group were obtained. After confirming a chemical structures of these substances, they were donated to Institute of Organic Industry (IPO - Warsaw) for scrining biological tests. The tests showed, that some compounds have very interesting biological properties. These compounds were published and patented.
