Abstract

The thesis are dedicated to the elaboration of vehicle indication optimisation methodology for railway signalling based on a moving block principle. Section Kutno-Podstolice of the E-20 Warszaw-Berlin railway line being part of the 2-nd Crete Transport Corridor has been chosen for examination. Investigation was conducted for six train separation options based on a moving block principle: - full moving block based on event driven vehicle indication, - full moving block based on distance driven vehicle indication, - full moving block based on time driven vehicle indication, - relative moving block based on event driven vehicle indication, - relative moving block based on distance driven vehicle indication, - relative moving block based on time driven vehicle indication, and for option zero reflecting fixed block principle actually used by a four aspect line block signaling system.
