Modelowanie refrakcji troposferycznej dla zastosowań w geodezji satelitarnej i astronomii

Abstract

The aim of the study was a construction of a local model of the wet component of the tropospherical refraction. The first step to achieve this was finding a function describing changes of the refractive index in the wet component of the troposphere. Then a local model of the troposphere was proposed from which highly precise values of the wet component of the zenith delay could be obtained on the basis of the current meteorological data at the site of measurement. The precision of the results was comparable to that of the determination of the real values directly from aerological data. These results have proved that the local model proposed ensures better precision of results than the models based on a global approach. Moreover, it bas been shown that the local modelling of the troposphere together with the local determination of the wet refraction component and determination of water vapour content in the atmosphere are useful for improvement of weather forecast accuracy.
