Abstract

This thesis describes digital control system based on fuzzy logic, which controls process of soil cutting doing by hydraulic backhoe excavator under maximum soil cutting force criterion. This research has developed the algorithm of control of excavator functional motions under maximum soil cutting force criterion. The Control system for hydraulic backhoe excavator has been developed too. Input and output signals have been selected. The fuzzy rules base has been build for fuzzy logic controller. This thesis includes the program for simulation of cutting process, which based on mathematical model of excavator done in this task and it has fuzzy logic controller. The Simulation program works in MATLAB environment. The fuzzy logic controller control movement of boom. The operator control movement of arm.
