Regulacja poziomu napięcia w zadaniu kształtowania zapotrzebowania na moc i energię elektryczną odbiorców końcowych w inteligentnych sieciach elektroenergetycznych

Abstract

The dissertation answers the question for the use of voltage levels regulation within the context of power and energy end-users forming in Smart Power Grids. The ideas and goals of intelligent power grid were briefly discussed. Legal and technical conditions for voltage levels with respect to the requirements of national and worldwide range were presented. Methods and criteria of adjusting the voltage levels in the classical and intelligent networks were brought closer. Part of the hearing was devoted to determine the effect of voltage on the work of receivers commonly encountered by end-users. Author presented methods of load forming using devices starting from the HV/MV stations by devices installed on lines, transformers with on-load tap changer in MV/LV stations, ending on equipment installed before the main board in the end-user receiving system. Ways to adjust the load by using methods based on measurement of the frequency of the network were presented, and then a new method of loads forming called Frequency Based Voltage Regulation was discussed. Technical and economic benefits of shaping demand for power and electrical energy have been demonstrated. In next section the issues of reducing the cost of purchasing energy, reducing prices and volume in the balancing market, reduce peak demand, flattening the demand curve were discussed. An example of the savings on street lighting which power regulation is at the basis of the supply voltage was shown. The possible benefits of using the new control method in microgrids were discussed. End user energy consumption reduction, reacting for process on balance market and system peak load reduction were show as a benefits of controlling demands. Final section summarizes the achievements and conclusions formulated under the dissertation.
