#### Abstract

An ability to use detonation process of fuel burning in aircraft’s propulsion systems is currently a subject of researches conducted on all over the world. As a very promising propulsion system it has many working advantages: more cost-effective, compact design, low or zero pollution emission, high thermodynamic effectiveness. Due to many forecasting profits, this kind of engine is focusing attention of more and more aircraft engineers. Simulations and calculations of Rotating Detonation Wave Engine, which uses continuous detonation waves propagation, are also conducted in Poland. Poland is one of the main countries where advanced numerical and experimental researches are conducted under a supervision of professor Wolanski, a specialist of detonation propulsion system. This thesis considers the influence of inlet values of mixture composition coefficient and pressure value on detonation wave structure and propagation. The results of numerical simulations performed at Warsaw Institute of Aviation of a detonation wave continuously rotating in an annular combustion chamber were used to carry out analysis of created after detonation ignition in different inlet conditions, wavy structure of the detonation. The other issue is to evaluate which boundary conditions are the best in terms of performance. In this purpose, specific impulse calculation was performed.
