Proceedings of the Second European Teletraffic Seminar
AbstractThe 2nd European Teletraffic Seminar (ETS 2013) will be held at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden. The series of ETS, which started in 2011 in Poznan, represents the extension of the Polish German Teletraffic Symposium, initiated in 2000, and the Nordic Teletraffic Seminar, initiated in 1977, with kind support of French Teletraffic Community. This series of bi-annual, international seminars is providing a forum for discussions between researchers, practitioners, young scientists, and students interested in teletraffic, a discipline addressing the analysis and control of information and data transport within communication and computer networks. Topics of ETS 2013 cover subjects related to teletraffic issues in current and new generation networks, e.g. Future Internet; architectures, technology, and operation of modern telecommunication and computer networks; broadband, wireless and mobile communication systems; integration of a broad spectrum of services; computer and communication systems and related applications; methods and tools for network and service modeling; network and service planning; forecasting and management; performance evaluation; etc. The extended abstract-based submission policy has been chosen such as to facilitate access to the conference and discussions of the papers in the plenum. Nevertheless, the authors of the best papers will be offered post-conference journal publication of extended versions. This concept has proven to be very successful for the predecessor ETS 2011. Submitted papers (in form of extended abstracts) will undergo three independent reviews, and accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings. Original papers are invited on such topics as (but not limited to): Teletraffic Models and Traffic Theory, Traffic Control, Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE), Network and System Architectures, Mobile and Wireless Networks, Network Design and Planning, Traffic and Network Management, Protocol Performance, Computer Systems and Networks, Quantitative Measures, Performance Measurements, Switching Networks, Network Security,
