Semi-autonomous firefighting mobile robot

Abstract

The main objective was to create and build a semi-autonomous firefighting remote-controlled robot. The robot can be either controlled remotely or function autonomously through transmitter activation. The thesis includes: an overview of literature associated with mobile firefighter robots, the chassis project, the drivetrain choice, the autonomous mode sensors choice with the implementation of the steering algorithm as well as field tests of the robot. The thesis concludes with a proposal of development for future directions.

Celem pracy jest projekt i wykonanie półautonomicznego robota mobilnego do gaszenia pożarów sterowanego za pomocą aparatury radiowej. Robot porusza się zgodnie z wolą operatora lub działa w trybie autonomicznym, włączanym z poziomu aparatury. W pracy zostało zawarte: przegląd literatury dotyczącej robotów mobilnych do gaszenia pożarów, projekt podwozia robota, dobór napędu, dobór czujników wspomagających tryb autonomiczny, implementacja algorytmu sterownia, testy w środowisku rzeczywistym. Na końcu zawarte są wnioski wraz z propozycją rozwoju projektu.
