Measurement of long-term stability of MRI scanner

Abstract

The BSc thesis presents the process of creation of a pipelinie for XNAT platform. This pipeline is designed to an automatic creation of reports containing short and long-term analysis of stability of MR scanner during functional resonance imaging study. Testing of stability of MR scanner was based on a quality assurance protocol designed by BIRN (Biomedical Informatics Research Network). The pipeline was implemented on an XNAT server and successfully tested on an image dataset from M. Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, PAS.

Niniejsza praca prezentuje proces tworzenia toru przetwarzania danych dla platformy XNAT. Tor ten będzie miał za zadanie automatyczne tworzenie raportów długo- i krótko-terminowej analizy stabilności tomografu MRI, co jest istotne w trakcie wykonywania badania czynnościowego. Badanie stabilności skanera oparte zostało na podstawie protokołu zapewniania jakości opisanego przez instytut BIRN(Biomedical Informatics Research Network). Całość została zaimplementowana na serwerze XNAT oraz z powodzeniem przetestowana na zbiorze danych obrazowych pochodzących z Instytutu Biologii Doświadczalnej PAN Im. M.Nenckiego.
