Application of laser in cutting silicon base in biomedical use

Abstract

The paper is about examining influence of parameters of laser beam to silicon base and also concerns development of mice endothelial cell cultures on cut silicon base. Therefore silicon base was cut and analyzed on the basis of appearance of notch and surface around it. Analysis was used to choose the range of values of each parameter. Afterwards parameters were changed only to appointed extent. In the next stage, work was continued in The Department of Regenerative Medicine of Military Institute of Hygiene & Epidemiology where culture of murine epithelial cell line was performed. Results were analysed with confocal microscope and cell viability was examined with NR tests (neutral red).

Praca odnosi się do zbadania wpływu parametrów wiązki laserowej na wygląd podłoża krzemowego oraz rozwój hodowli mysiej linii komórek śródbłonka. W tym celu wykonano nacięcia na podłożach krzemowych, które przeanalizowano i na podstawie oceny samego nacięcia i jego okolicy wybrano zakres dla każdego z parametrów w jakim dokonywano jego zmiany się w późniejszych działaniach. W kolejnym etapie działania realizowane były w Wojskowym Instytucie Higieny i Epidemiologii w Warszawie, gdzie na naciętych podłożach przeprowadzono hodowlę mysiej linii komórek śródbłonka. Wyniki poddano analizie pod mikroskopem konfokalnym oraz przetestowano żywotność komórek testem NR.
