System to manage Internet of Things devices

Abstract

The aim of the paper was to develop a system to manage Internet of Things devices. The problem to solve was to control IoT devices connected to internal Wi-Fi network from the outside. System consists of 4 modules. Intel Edison was used as a controller of the devices. User is able to control the devices via Internet browser. MQTT and http protocols were used as communication protocols.

Celem pracy dyplomowej było stworzenie systemu do zarządzania urządzeniami w Internecie rzeczy. Problem jaki należało rozwiązać to sterowanie urządzeniami podłączonymi do wewnętrznej sieci Wifi z zewnątrz. System składa się z 4 modułów. Jako kontroler urządzeń wykorzystano platformę Intel Edison. Użytkownik może sterować urządzeniami używając przeglądarki internetowej. Do komunikacji wykorzystano protokoły MQTT i http.
