Abstract

The paper is devoted the consumer and their behavior in the market, take into account the factors which affect them. This subject matter is the object of many studies, because more and more recognizes the need to get acquainted the behavior of the consumer market. Consumer behavior because it is part of a very wide issues of human behavior in general. Without understanding the behavior of a potential buyer it is not possible to implement an effective marketing strategy, and thereby achieve satisfactory and maximum profits. The first chapter discussion of the role and place of the consumer in a market economy. Have defined the concept of the consumer and has been identified its characteristics. It also shows the selected theories of consumer behavior, and it was noted that not all consumer behavior are rational, since there are also irrational behavior. The second chapter devoted to describing the factors that influence the decisions made by the consumer. The starting point of this chapter is to discuss essence, scope and division of consumer decisions, because this issue is fundamental. Classification of factors having a bearing on consumer is in the literature a lot. That is why it was necessary for reasons of transparency to distinguish between internal and external conditions. Psychological conditions, which are discussed in this chapter in considerable detail. Amid external factors were distinguished economic factors and socio-cultural. Just after them discussed was the decision making process, which is currently the subject of of interest marketing research. It is also essential consumer behavior after the purchase, and this issue has also been agitated, because wanting to really understand consumer behavior on the market can not finish discussing issues of after moment of purchase. After purchase, may occur various of conduct that determine whether the purchase will be retried or not, and influence the future behavior of a potential buyer. The third chapter of this paper shows how consumer behavior looks in the light of the survey results. Carrying out research is important because without them it is not possible examine the potential buyer and obtain the necessary information to create a effective marketing strategy that will be bring the company a profit. In a survey conducted for the needs of of this work, respondents had the opportunity to give their opinions and suggestions regarding their conduct on the market and their preferences. These studies have confirmed earlier the presented and described the theory. Have shown that consumer behavior is affected by many different factors. Is influenced both by gender, age, place of residence, education, and other factors discussed in this work. Then was concluded ending that summarizes this work. Furthermore also contains resources which have been used in this work. The work has been used available subject literature and the Internet. Empirical findings come from its own surveys and book publications. Also contains a questionnaire survey carried out for the needs of the paper. And in the end was placed a summary of the paper in Polish and English.
