## Development of a diagnostic system for laboratory double toggle jaw crusher

#### Abstract

The purpose of this work is to modernize the laboratory measurement and diagnostic program. Thanks to the introduced change, it is possible to analyze the parameters of the crushing process, ie force on the strut and jaw movement, crushing work, efficiency, estimated energy costs. This work presents basic information on parameter tests and technical data for crushers. The first chapter presents exemplary crushers with their basic technical parameters. The second chapter discusses types of aggregates currently used in construction according to PN-EN 13043: 2004 [8]. The third chapter discusses the impact of the shape of crushing plates on crushing parameters, i.e. technical efficiency, energy consumption of the crushing process. The fourth chapter describes the laboratory two-jaw jaw crusher and the measuring system of this machine. This chapter also includes a description of the measuring system capabilities in terms of measured parameters of the grinding process. The fifth chapter presents a new measuring system with the appearance of the measuring application. Exemplary fragments of the algorithm from which the measurement application is built are discussed. The sixth chapter proposes a laboratory exercise with its description and detailed course, which can be used as part of the Laboratory of Work Machines or Construction Machines. The eleventh chapter presents attachments as the code of the measurement program designed as part of the work. The entire program was programmed in the LabVIEW environment and verified during tests carried out on the jaw crusher. As a result of the work carried out, a program was written that allows analysis of crumbling parameters in real time and recording of measurement results into a text file. In order to check the correctness of the program's operation, tests were conducted on fragile materials, ie white brick, red brick, concrete, paving stones and "Morawica" limestone.
