Measurements of hydrogen solubility in Nitrobenzene/Aniline mixtures

Abstract

Measurements of hydrogen solubility in various nitrobenzene-aniline mixtures were performed under the influence of different temperatures (30℃, 40℃, 50℃, 90℃, 130℃, 170℃, 210℃) and stirrer rotation speeds (1200 rpm, 1600 rpm, 2000 rpm) under pressure 20÷30 bar. It was found that hydrogen’s solubility in nitrobenzene-aniline mixtures rises with the rise of temperature for the process parameters. Henry’s constants were calculated and a relation between Henry’s constant and temperature in form of logH=f(T) was proposed for pure nitrobenzene and aniline separately. Correlations between Henry’s constant and aniline’s concentration in form of log(HAN⁄H)=f(cAN ) for each temperature were found.

Wykonano pomiary rozpuszczalności wodoru w różnych mieszaninach nitrobenzenu z aniliną w różnych temperatur (30℃, 40℃, 50℃, 90℃, 130℃, 170℃, 210℃) i prędkości obrotowych mieszadła (1200 rpm, 1600 rpm, 2000 rpm) dla ciśnień w przedziale 20÷30 bar. Stwierdzono, że rozpuszczalność wodoru w mieszaninach nitrobenzen-anilina rośnie wraz ze wzrostem temperatury w zakresie parametrów procesowych. Obliczono stałe Henry’ego oraz wyznaczono zależność pomiędzy stałą Henry’ego a temperaturą w postaci logH=f(T) dla czystego nitrobenzenu oraz czystej aniliny. Zaproponowano korelacje pomiędzy stałą Henry’ego a stężeniem aniliny w postaci log(HAN⁄H)=f(cAN ) dla każdej z temperatur prowadzenia procesu.
