## Draft optimization of the production process of whey powder for example powdered SM Ryki

#### Abstract

The theme of the project is to optimize the process parameters of production of whey powder on the example of Dairy Cooperative Ryki. Analysis of the production process of whey powder SM Ryki has been made in the course of student placements. Thanks to become familiar with the process of the production of whey, it was found that had not used any analysis of the causes and consequences of errors. This paper describes and isolated aspects of the production process. We present a detailed classification of methods used to optimize production processes from the point of view of different authors' books. Describes methods such as network programming CPM (Critical Path Method) and PERT (The Evalution and Review Technique), flow control as well as control order, 5S method, linear programming simplex method, value analysis and value stream. The greatest attention is focused on the method of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), which was used in the project. The rest of the work relates to familiarize yourself with the production plant. It presents the characteristics of the company. The second chapter refers to familiarize themselves with the internal structure as well as outside the company and know the production process of whey powder. Describes the production plant, its location, history, mission, products, competitors as well as the manufacturing process itself whey powder, which is then optimized. The third chapter in accordance with the project at the beginning defined its purpose and objectives. The next step was the timetable for the project and a detailed analysis of the production process of whey powder, which allowed to get acquainted with the whole process and the identification of risks, errors start, the damage that might be in it. The analysis of the possible causes of defects are shown in the table based on the graph Ishikawa. In the project in accordance with the methods outlined the main defects, their possible causes and potential consequences. The table also includes control measures taken for specific defects. Then each potential defect assigned to factor the probability of the defect, the importance factor for the customer and the detection process. In a further step, all the coefficients are multiplied by each other and thus was estimated risk. To optimize selected only those defects which the risk was greater than 100 and those whose importance for the customer exceeded the value of 5. After this analysis, and adjusting the corrective and preventive actions started to assess the effectiveness of the proposed solution. Evaluation of the effectiveness shown in the table containing the costs of corrective and preventive actions. In summary, the main result of the analysis methods FEMA was to reduce the risk of data errors and related costs. However, keep in mind that this method should show the employees of the company, it is not enough just to collect the data, through analysis of the level of risk but above all, maintain and continuously improve the process.
