Jedrzej Drozdowicz, a young scientist, an electronics engineer specializing in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging and programmable logic (FPGA), received his M.Sc. in Engineering with honors in 2015 from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), Poland.
In 2015, Jedrzej Drozdowicz started his Ph.D. studies with his main research interests focused on interferometric techniques of synthetic aperture radar signal processing, specifically, three dimensional imaging and moving target detection. He has also attended the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Training Program in Missile Technology.
While still a student, over the period 2011-2014, he was employed as the electronics engineer and programmer by Robotics Inventions, a new product development company from Warsaw, Poland. Since 2014, he has cooperated with the Radar Techniques Research Group operating within the Institute of Electronic Systems, WUT, Poland.
In 2016, he was awarded a research grant from the National Science Centre, a government agency in Poland, for his project “Three-dimensional synthetic aperture radar imaging using optimized, complex trajectory of the radar carrier movement”. In this 3-year project he assumes a role of the project manager and principal investigator.
