Retired professor of Warsaw University of Technology, habilitated in technological sciences with a specialization in mechanics-vibroacoustics, aerospace engineer, currently an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Automation Systems at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Mechanics and Petrochemistry. He obtained a MSc degree from the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering in 1961, PhD degree at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Problems of Polish Academy of Sciences in 1968 and the highest scientific degree – Habilitation, the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, in 1998. In 2001 he was appointed professor at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Mechanics and Petrochemistry of Warsaw University of Technology. In the years 1961-1962 he was a designer at the Laboratory of the British Iron and Steel Research Association in Sheffield, England and WSK Okęcie in Warsaw. Since 1962, researcher and assistant professor, respectively, at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Problems, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering University of Algiers (as a docent), at the Institute for Automation and Robotics Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technological University of Bialystok, at the Vehicle Acoustics Laboratory of Automotive Industry Institute in Warsaw, and since 1999 r, at the Warsaw University of Technology in Plock. From 1976 to 1980, coordinator of the research problem on dynamics and wear of gear transmissions and rolling bearings in the 05.4.4 problem. In the seventies, he organized the Diagnostics School training cycle, to improve the skills of exploitation engineers. Member of the Polish Society of Technical Diagnostics. He deals with the methodology and methods of investigation, with the diagnosis problem of machinery, vibroacoustics, experimental studies of dynamic phenomena in functioning mechanical equipment and numerical signal processing. He is the author of 9 books and the author or co-author of 62 articles, 25 construction and experimental projects, mostly realized for the industry and used in practice. He is the co-owner of one patent. Supervisor of two promoted PhD theses in technical sciences. Foreign languages spoken: French and English.
