Graduate of the Faculty of Fine Mechanics, Warsaw University of Technology [WUT] (1985). Since 1986 employed at the Institute of Design of Precise and Optic Instruments (currently Institute of Micromechanics and Photonics [IM&Ph], Faculty of Mechatronics, WUT). He received PhD degree and assistant professor status in 2000. His research interests include Fourier spectrometry, study of optical material properties, interferometry, infrared technique. He is a specialist in the field of design, computer modeling and testing of optomechatronic instruments and systems. Author and co-author of 17 publications and conference papers, as well as 1 patent. Author and co-author of programs of 4 new courses. Supervisor of over 20 BSc and MSc theses. He received 2 Rector Awards. He completed a 6 month industrial internship at the Warsaw TV Factory and 1 month internship at Hahn + Kolb GmbH (Ludwigsburg, Germany). In the years 2005-2012 (two terms), he was a Deputy Dean for Students Affairs at the Faculty of Mechatronics and 2008-2012 a member of the Senate of WUT.
