Docent, Ph.D., Janusz Igielski Graduate of Mechtronics Faculty at Warsaw Univesity of Technology (1975). Awarded Ph.D., D.Sc. in the field of Mechanics and Maintenance of Machines in 1984. The area of interest is the design of precision and mechatronic machines, automatics and robotics, in particular assembly and packaging processes in various industries as well as automatic vending devices. Employed at the following positions: assistant profesor, associate profesor, and since 2010 docent. In the years 1996 - 1999 he was the Vice Dean for Teaching at the Faculty of Mechatronics, at Warsaw University of Technology. From 1999 till 201 served as Deputy Director of the Institute of Micromechanics and Photonics, at Warsaw University of Technology. He participated in the preparation and introduction of a macro-field of Mechatronics at the Faculty of Mechatronics, at Warsaw University of Technology. Since 2006, Dean’s Attorney for Public Procurement at the Faculty of Mechatronics, at Warsaw University of Technology. His academic achivements include authorship and co-authorship of research monographs on low-power drive systems. He is the author of 36 articles in national and international journals and 24 presentations at, both national and international, conferences. Being the author or co-author of 22 patents and utility models constitutes a confirmation of his professional achievements. Author of five scripts and co-author one textbook in the field of construction of mechanization equipment and automation of assembly and packaging processes. He developed and teaches, in the multimedia form, the following 30-hour lectures: - Devices for automation of production, - Systems for automation of production, - Automated manufacturing devices of mechatronics, - Automatic vending devices, - Methodology of design of mechatronic devices, - European conditions of engineering activity, Supervisor of more than one hundred and twenty engineer’s and master's theses in the field of Micromechanics, Precision Engineering and Technology Multimedia.
