He received Doctoral degree in 2015 at the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography, Warsaw University of Technology. He is employed as an assistant professor in the Department of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Systems. He is the author of over fifty scientific publications related to the analysis and the application of multi-sourced photogrammetric data especially in issues associated with the use of airborne laser scanning and aerial images. Within last years he was involved in several research projects financed by i.e. Foundation for Polish Science (Ventures programme), National Centre for Research and Development (SAFEDAM, HabitARS, NavSAR). He conducts lectures and practical exercises in following courses: geodesy and cartography, spatial planning and geoinformatics. He is a contractor of forensic studies in a field of photogrammetry and photointerpretation as well as several implementation works. He was awarded in Fanni and Theodore J. Blachut scholarship targeted to young academics, and PhD students working in the discipline of photogrammetry and remote sensing. He is a member of board of the Polish Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, visepresident of the Association of Polish Surveyors and member of the Polish Geographical Society - Department of Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics. He is involved in works of international organizations such as ISPRS and EuroSDR.
