Marcin Malesa is PhD student in Photonics Engineering Division at the Institute of Micromechanics and Photonics, Faculty of Mechatronics, Warsaw University of Technology and at the same time he is co-founder of the KSM Vision Sp. z o.o. company. His professional interests include application of optical measurement methods in various fields of industry and science such as: experimental mechanics, material engineering, conservation of art, heat and power generating industries or building engineering. He focuses on non-coherent light, full-fields methods of displacements and strains measurements and image processing methods. Marcin Malesa graduated in 2009 at the Faculty of Mechatronics, Warsaw University of Technology. Before starting PhD studies he spent one year on internship at Airbus UK company in Bristol. In the Autumn 2013 he attended a course at the Hass School of Business at the University of California Berkeley within the TOP500 Innovators program.
