Mateusz Malanowski received his M.Sc., Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland, in 2004, 2009 and 2013, respectively. He was a Research Scientist with Forschungsgesellschaft für Angewandte Naturwissenschaften (FGAN, currently Fraunhofer FHR), Germany, and an Engineer with Orpal, Poland. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor with the Institute of Electronic Systems, Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology. His main areas of interest are digital signal processing and radar technology, especially target detection, parameter estimation, target tracking and radar imaging. He worked on techniques such as passive coherent location (PCL), synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and noise radar. Mateusz Malanowski is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). He is a chairman of seminar of Circuit and Signal Theory Division, Institute of Electronic Systems, Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology.
