Przemysław Dymarski received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Wrocław University of Technology, Poland, in 1974 and 1983, respectively, both in Electrical Engineering. In 2004 he received the D.Sc. degree in Telecommunications from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology. Now he is with the Institute of Telecommunications, Warsaw University of Technology. His research includes various aspects of digital signal processing, particularly speech and audio compression for telecommunications and multimedia, audio watermarking and applications of Hidden Markov Models. Professor, Transmissions Systems Division; member of the European Association for Signal, Speech and Image Processing (EURASIP), member of the Polish Standardiza-tion Committee (Multi-media section), head of Specialization "Telecommunications Systems and Networks"
