Agnieszka Mossakowska-Wyszyńska received the M.Sc. degree in 1991 and Ph.D. degree in 1996 from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), both in quantum electronics. The subject of her dissertation thesis was "Dynamic operation of waveguide distributed feedback lasers". In 1996 she joined Optoelectronics Division, Institute of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics, WUT, as an Assistant Professor. In March 1995, she received the grant from Foundation of Polish Science. In December 18th 1997 she received Prime Minister Prize for her dissertation thesis. Her principal research interests include laser physics, integrated optics, dynamical laser operation, bistability laser operation and photonic crystal lasers with various resonators. Dr. Mossakowska-Wyszyńska is a member of: the Polish Committee of Optoelectronics of Association of Polish Electrical Engineers SEP (from 1996), the Faculty Council (from 2005), the Dean's Commission for Faculty Organization (from 2008), Photonics Society of Poland (from 2008). She is secretary of Optoelectronics Section of the Electronics and Telecommunication Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences (from 1996), editor of Annual Report of Institute of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics (from 2000) and Head of Teaching Group in Optoelectronics Division (from 2010). In 2000 she finished course ACCA “The Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance” (Interpretation of Financial Statements, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Business Analysis 2000).
