Analysis of a spatial hole burning effect in a square triangular lattice photonic crystal laser

Abstract

In this paper we present an approximate analysis of the nonlinear operation of the two-dimensional (2D) photonic crystal (PC) lasers taking into account nonlinear effects (gain saturation, spatial hole burning).
