Analysis of the Liquid Natural Gas Energy Storage basing on the mathematical model

The energy storage technologies seem to play the invaluable role in the present and future energy systems. The Liquid Natural Gas Energy Storage (LNGES) is the idea which derives from the Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES). Main change is to replace air with the natural gas. The superior function of the system is the natural gas storage, which can be realized with no geological requirements. The additional system feature is the energy recovery module, which works as the energy storage unit. This way the analyzed system can become an important point in the power system. The mathematical model proposed in the paper was applied in Aspen Hysys numerical environment. Three plants configuration were considered, up to local gas connection, plant conditions and the individual preferences.
