Erratum to "Octonian Fourier Transform of real-valued functions of three variables - selected properties and examples" [Signal Process. 136 (2017) 29-37]

Abstract

An error has been discovered in Section 6.2 of the article mentioned in title of this paper (one statement is true in some special cases but not in general). Fortunately, this error affects only Section 6.2 and 6.3 (which are last two short sections of this article, excluding conclusions and final remarks) and has no effect on previous sections. We were able to find a correct solution and can provide a detailed discussion considering the notion of the autocorrelation function and the energy spectral density (which was misstated in the article as the power spectral density).

Abstract in PolishJedno z twierdzeń w artykule wspomnianym w tytule pracy jest prawdziwe jedynie w kilku szczególnych przypadkach, a nie w przypadku ogólnym. W tej pracy prezentujemy poprawne rozwiązanie tego problemu i szczegółowe rozważania na temat funkcji autokorelacji oraz widma gęstości energii sygnałów (funkcji) trzech zmiennych. Dowodzimy m.in. Twierdzenie Wienera-Chinczyna, które jest jednym z centralnych twierdzeń w teorii sygnałów.
