Measurement of buildings using IPMS (International Property Measurement Standard for Office Buildings) and Polish property measurement standard - comparative analysis
J. Dąbrowski , Marcin Karabin
AbstractThe authors present measurements of offices within a building situated in Warsaw - the capital of Poland. The authors calculated areas of offices using the Polish standard PN-ISO 9836:1997 ("Useful properties in building industry. DEtermination and calculation of size and volume factors") and the IPMS (International Property Measurement Standard for Office Buildings). The authors performed comparative analysis of results obtained using two standards. Technical and legal problems were identified.
