A review of the process of geometric corrections of VHRS images: IKONOS, GeoEye, WorldView and Pleiades
Katarzyna Osińska-Skotak , Sebastian Różycki
Abstract
The paper presents a review of original experiments concerning the process of geometric corrections of IKONOS 2, GeoEye 1, WorldView 2 and Pleiades 1A images for one test site. Presented experiments were arranged into scenarios considering: 1) The influence of the accuracy of determined elements of the satellite orientation on the accuracy of pixel locations in imaging arrays, 2) the assessment of the process of corrections with respect to the distribution and the number of utilised control points and weights of observations.Author | |||||
