Katalityczne utlenianie w fazie ciekłej etylobenzenu ozonem w lodowatym kwasie octowym

Abstract

The kinetics of PhEt oxidation with an O3-air mixture in glacial AcOH in presence of Mn(OAc)2 was studied. Introduction of the catalyst resulted in an increase of the side-chain oxidation selectivity from 34.0 to 83.7%. AcPh (76.0%) and PhMeCHOAc (9.7%) were the main reaction products. Traces of PhMeCHOH and PhCHO were found in the reaction mixt. No products of PhH ring ozonolysis were detected.

Abstract in PolishZbadano kinetykę utleniania etylobenzenu mieszaniną ozonowo-powietrzną w lodowatym kwasie octowym. Wprowadzenie octanu manganu(II) jako katalizatora do układu reakcyjnego zwiększyło selektywność utleniania łańcucha bocznego z 34,0% do 83,7%. Głównym produktem reakcji był acetofenon (76,0%) i octan metylofenylokarbinolu (9,7%).
