Katalityczne utlenianie w fazie ciekłej etylobenzenu ozonem w lodowatym kwasie octowym

Abstract
The kinetics of PhEt oxidation with an O3-air mixture in glacial AcOH in presence of Mn(OAc)2 was studied. Introduction of the catalyst resulted in an increase of the side-chain oxidation selectivity from 34.0 to 83.7%. AcPh (76.0%) and PhMeCHOAc (9.7%) were the main reaction products. Traces of PhMeCHOH and PhCHO were found in the reaction mixt. No products of PhH ring ozonolysis were detected.

- Zbadano kinetykę utleniania etylobenzenu mieszaniną ozonowo-powietrzną w lodowatym kwasie octowym. Wprowadzenie octanu manganu(II) jako katalizatora do układu reakcyjnego zwiększyło selektywność utleniania łańcucha bocznego z 34,0% do 83,7%. Głównym produktem reakcji był acetofenon (76,0%) i octan metylofenylokarbinolu (9,7%).
