Magnetic Moment Measurement Stand
Weronika Ziarkowska , Michał Nowicki , Tomasz Charubin
Abstract
In this paper a measurement stand for measuring magnetic moment was presented. The technical drawings of the parts made to order and the calibration procedure of the stand has been described, while also obtaining the results of measurements performed to eliminate the errors caused by the inaccuracy of respective parts of the stand. To obtain quantitative results, measurements of dipole magnetic moment and its dependence on temperature of commercially available magnets made of AlNiCo, SmCo, NdFeB alloys and ferrites and were performed.Author | |
