Abstract
Gait impairment occurs in neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's disease, after stroke and post-traumatically. Quantification of this impairment is necessary in diagnosis and in rehabilitation. The availability of small, cheap inertial measurements units (IMU) made such quantification feasible both in clinical and outpatient settings, for instance in the course of home based tele-rehabilitation.
