An evolution of the approach to the assessment of far-reaching technology implementation
Bartłomiej Gładysz , Krzysztof Santarek
AbstractThe paper presents an approach to the assessment of far-reaching technologies and its evolution. Authors proposed an approach designed in particular to Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and next explained a concept of further generalisation of that approach. The generalization enables an assessment of a broader class of far-reaching technologies. An approach can be used in assessment of technologies, which have wide range of impact and very often are in early stages of their life cycle. An assessment of such technologies is hardly difficult in advance, due to a lack of information, but contrarily there is a strong need for this kind of strategic assessment before starting an implementation process.
