Some extensions of the Cayley-Hamilton theorem and their applications
AbstractThe classical Cayley-Hamilton theorem is extended to rectangular matrices, block matrices, matrices depending on parameters, descriptor linear systems, right and left inverse matrices, rational matrices, nonlinear time-varying matrices and Drazin inverse matrices. New procedures for computation of inverse matrices and Drazin inverse matrices are proposed.
