Model for Forecasting the Sorptivity of Concretes with Recycled Concrete Aggregate

In the paper an attempt to develop models that allow to predict sorptivity of concrete with recycled aggregate on the basis of the composition of the concrete was presented. It was also an attempt to assess the suitability of these models for simulation to determine, among others, the probability of failure to achieve certain values of the modeled parameters. To test the resulting models in terms of their usefulness for probabilistic analysis of sorptivity Monte Carlo simulation method was used. Formulated models showed very good agreement of mean values and satisfactory compliance of the standard deviation of the results obtained from the simulation with the results obtained from the sorptivity tests.
