Lightweight SDR Platform for Passive Coherent Location Applications

AbstractIn this paper, we present a Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform for multichannel RF signal acquisition required for example in digital beamforming and Passive Coherent Location (PCL) systems. The platform is based on small-sized RSPduo radio spectrum processors connected via USB ports to a host computer. Basic performance measures of the platform are presented. Additionally, the practical calibration procedure is demonstrated that allows to compensate the phase differences and time shifts between different channels of the receiver
