Abstract

A kinetic study of dibenzoyl-l-tartaric anhydride synthesis was described. The kinetic equation and the dependence of the reaction rate constant on the temperature were determined. It was shown that the reaction is of the pseudo first order. The kinetic data enable the design of a continuous reactor.
