Dispersion Measurement of Photonic Crystal Fiber Infiltrated with Toluene

Photonic hollow core fiber with collapsed holes in the cladding area was used. The pump system was presented and infiltration method was elaborated to fill hollow core with highly nonlinear liquid, which was toluene. The investigated fiber has normal dispersion in range 0.5 ÷ 2μm, while absolute value of dispersion varies from 150 to 5 ps×nm-1km-1 in range 1 ÷ 2 μm wavelength. This normal and flat dispersion is a feature which is promising in supercontinuum generation.
