Explosion of rare earth metal alloys dust in nitrogen - water vapor atmosphere

The investigations of a rare earth metal dust explosion in a different gaseous atmosphere were conducted. Special attention was focused on the nitrogen and water vapor atmosphere. Variation of explosion pressure and maximum rate of explosion pressure rise was evaluated as a function of dust concentration for different temperature levels. Also the influence of initial water vapor temperature on the explosion parameters was evaluated.
