2.4 GHz LC-VCO with Improved Robustness against PVT Using FD-SOI Body Biasing Technique

This paper presents the application of FD-SOI body-biasing technique to improve robustness against PVT of an LC-tank voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). Designed VCO operates at 2.4 GHz ISM band and achieves phase noise level below -109.6 dBc/Hz. Power consumption equals 2.805 mW in the worst case. 28 nm FD-SOI process has been used.
