Abstract
2D carbides have been applied as highly efficient and selective agents for photothermal therapy both in vitro and in vivo. The outstanding electrical and optical parameters of MXene materials make them interesting candidates for sensing applications. 3D MXene phases can be used as sorptive and antimicrobial materials.
