Abstractp-38: Currently observed research on fiber-optic ac- cess networks shows a trend of switching to symmetric transmission, combined with appli- cation of WDM techniques. Such systems re- quire advanced, reliable and cost-effective pho- tonic devices. In this work we propose a concept of a WDM-PON system with transcei- vers in the optical line terminal and optical ne- twork units making use of photonic integrated circuits.
