Badanie dyfuzji agregatów sadzy (DEP) w warstwie śluzu

Abstract

Research was focused on a protective role of mucus in relation to carbon black particles. The diffusion coefficient for three types of carbon black aggregates through a layer of artificial mucus was determined. Diesel exhaust particles were obtained from the combustion of various fuels in a diesel oil engine. They were fractal-like structures with dimensions of 15 and 17 and diameters of 30, 60 and 117 nm. The study showed that, regardless of a type of DEP aggregates, mucus slowed their transport in degree depending on their size and shape.

Abstract in PolishBadania dotyczyły ochronnej roli śluzu w stosunku do cząstek sadzy. Określono współczynnik dyfuzji trzech typów agregatów sadzy przez warstwę sztucznego śluzu. Agregaty sadzy DEP (Diesel Exhaust Particles) uzyskano ze spalania różnych olei napędowych w wysokoprężnym silniku diesla. Były to struktury fraktalopodobne o wymiarach 15 i 17 oraz średnicach 30, 60 i 117 nm. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały, że niezależnie od typu agregatów DEP śluz spowalnia ich transport, choć w różnym stopniu, w zależności od wielkości i kształtu.
