Abstract

The paper describes Rosettabis ASIC which will be used in Penetrator - one of the instruments of Rosetta spacecraft that will investigate properties of comet 46 P/Wirtanen. The Rosettabis chip integrates a number of analog and digital modules of densitometer and thermal conductivity measurement subsystems. The chip architecture and some issues raised by space application of microelectronic device are discussed in the paper. The test results proved the chip works as expected.
