Waveform-Newton algorithm for the cosimulation of multibody systems coupled by constraints

Abstract

Cosimulation of dynamical systems may be often viewed as a special (distributed) method for the integration of underlying differential equations. An important class of such methods is the family of waveform relaxation methods developed and used mainly for the simulation of electronic devices and problems described by PDEs. In this paper we present simple numerical experiments with waveform-Newton variant applied to multibody systems.
