Statistical properties of light generated by a laser having resonator with Gaussian output mirror

AbstractAn analysis of the statistical properties of light generated by laser having resonator with Gaussian output mirror has been developed. The semiclassical approach based on the stationary solution of the Fokker-Planck equation is used. We have obtained numerical results revealing the influence of the resonator geometry and Gaussian mirror parameter on the mean laser intensity and the intensity fluctuations.
